I figured it was time I stopped gatekeeping my pepper steak recipe. With a punch of flavor and savory goodness in every single bite, you've got to try this recipe. Start by thinly slicing your preferred cut of steak and cutting them into strips. Season your steak with salt, pepper, and chicken or beef bouillon, garlic and onion powder, soy sauce, rice vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, ginger paste, garlic, and most importantly, baking soda. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes. While your steak is marinating, chop up an onion, red and green bell pepper, and a green onion. To a medium heat skillet, add avocado oil and your marinated steak until you get a nice crust on each side. Remove and add in your onions, bell peppers, and bottoms of your green onion. Add in a mixture of beef broth and soy sauce. Add cornstarch as a thickener, more black pepper, the tops of your green onions, and your steak and let reduce until you get this beauty. I love pairing this with white rice and drizzling more of that sauce over the steak and the rice. This steak was so tender and so flavorful, clearly, I couldn't wait to get a bite. Try this out because it was baked and let me know what y'all think.
